OUR STORY

For years I have been dreaming of combining my two loves: Baking & Dogs. Or more specifically: Breeding and Raising quality Bred Puppies and then celebrating their achievements with their owners and friends around the coffee pot with freshly baked goodies.   

Giftnell Border Collie Kennel was established in 1994, and over the years, has become known as one of the top Border Collie kennels in South Africa.  However, as the critical socialization period runs from 3-16 weeks there is only so much that we as breeders can accomplish until the puppies leave us at 8 weeks. Over the last 5 years, a lot of our own breeding continued visiting us during these critical first months for daily visits. We continued shaping the puppy’s development, creating a lifelong friend for his owner, enjoyable thru EVERY stage of their life together.

Resulting in the Puppy Puzzle Brand, combining a Puppy Daycare Facility focusing on the Critical Early Socialization thru LOVE – PLAY – EXERCISE AND EXPOSURE with a Homemade Puppy Treat bakery where Home and Handmade treats are made with love and care, using only the finest, freshest and natural ingredients.
